Today we are in Matthew chapter 13 as we consider when and why Jesus began to teach in parable form. It was certainly curious to the disciples as they questioned Jesus why He would speak in parables and I am sure that it was curious to the Pharisees who looked on from the crowd. But Jesus had an important reason for teaching in parables.
