We all believe in something. We all believe that the earth came into existence, even if we believe that it came about in a different way. We all believe that life exists, even if we believe that how it came about is different. We all believe that when we die, something will happen to us. This is what we believe here at Campbell Bible Church:
Because Adam & Eve ate of the fruit that God asked them not to, they disobeyed and that disobedience has existed within their family line throughout all of mankind, passind down generation to generation and affecting us today.
Romans 3:23: For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Romans 6:23: For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 5:8: But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 10:9-10: If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 8:38-39: For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:1: There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
Salvation is available to anyone that asks. John 3:16-17 tells us that God sent His Son, Jesus Christ to this earth to pay the penalty for our sins so that we would never have to suffer a spiritual death separated from Him or God. We are reminded that God did not send His Son for the purpose of condemning the world but for the purpose of saving it.
Sin is real and it separates us from God. The only way that we can be free from our sin is through Jesus Christ. Consider asking Jesus to be your Savior today. It simply takes a willing heart and a short conversation through prayer.
Prayer is simple conversation. To ask Jesus to be your Savior, begin by confessing or admitting that you are a sinner, and ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins. Determine that you will not return to the sin that you know is part of your life after your conversation with Jesus. Acknowledge that Jesus is the Son of God and trust in Him through faith that He did come to this earth and died on the cross for your sins. Accept Him as your only Savior and Lord of your life. Thank Jesus for all that He has done on your behalf.
